ISLAMABAD, Jul 16 (APP): Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on Bannu Cantt, commending the security forces for their swift action, and honored the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation.
The Speaker, expressed grief over tragic loss of eight brave men including Naib Subidar Muhammad Shehzad and Havaldar Shehzad Ahmed who made the ultimate sacrifice thwarting the attack.
He reiterated that martyrs are the pride of the nation, and their sacrifices would be remembered for ever.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs,” Speaker Ayaz Sadiq remarked solemnly, emphasizing his solidarity with them during this time of sorrow.
Declaring steadfast resolve against terrorism, the Speaker affirmed, “We will never allow terrorist elements to succeed in their nefarious intentions. The entire nation stands united with our security agencies to eradicate this menace.”
He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and granting of patience and strength for the bereaved families.
