ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The government has allocated an amount of Rs 16,237.801 million for the ongoing and new Housing and Works Division schemes for the fiscal year 2024-25 under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
The allocation included Rs 15,957.801 million for the 124 ongoing projects and Rs 280 million for five new schemes, according to the budgetary document issued on Wednesday.
On the ongoing schemes, an amount of Rs 699.641 million has been earmarked for construction of REC / DECs office Faisalabad and Rs 250 mln for the construction of Railway Under Pass Jahanian District Khanewal.
Similarly, an amount of Rs 100 million has been kept for the construction of 24 km Black Top Road, Lala Lehad Cross Via Humari Rosh Shob District Kalat, Balochistan while an amount of Rs 131.381 million has been allocated for the construction of Operation Theater at Central Hospital in Mingora, Swat.
Likewise, an amount of Rs 163.130 mln has been reserved for the refurbishment of PM Office, Islamabad.
Regarding the new development schemes, Rs 280 million have been allocated for the construction of five new schemes including RS 25 mln each for of construction of IB offices at District Chaman and Pishin.
Similarly Rs 35 mln has been allocated for construction of IB office building at Mastung, Rs 45 mln for IB office at Dassu and Rs 150 mln for the construction of IB office building in Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad.
