ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The government had earmarked Rs 6,084 million for various ongoing and new schemes of the Finance Division under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2024-25.
According to the budget document, Rs 958.679 million was allocated for new schemes and Rs5,125.321 million for ongoing schemes.
The new schemes included in the current year’s PSDP is construction of Audit House Lahore, for which Rs.458.679 were earmarked and women inclusive finance project with allocation of Rs500 million.
Among ongoing schemes, the government earmarked Rs1,108.506 for Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Project ; Rs.829.506 million for modernization and upgradation of Pakistan Mint (Phase-II-A); Rs.780 for Pakistan Audit and Account Academy (PAAA) Islamabad and Rs418.420 for implementation and mainstreaming of Audit Management Information System (AIMS).
Likewise, the government set aside Rs.288.689 million for construction of Federal Audit Complex G-8/1 Islamabad (PC-1); Rs.80 million for implementation of PFM Policy Framework in federal government and Rs.7.2 million for construction of National Saving Complex (PC-II).
