ISLAMABAD, Jul 20 (APP):Ex Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan Saturday stressed world community for result-oriented efforts towards resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and urged to continue raising the Kashmir issue on all international forums in order to ensure implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir issue.
The Kashmiri people deserve the help of world powers to get rid of illegal Indian occupation, he said while talking on a private news channel.
The United Nations needs to play its role to ensure implementation of its resolutions on Kashmir issue according to which the Kashmiris have the right of plebiscite, he added.
He appreciated that the Pakistan is continuing its political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmir cause and Kashmiri people have great respect for Pakistani nation as well.
He said the real face of India, particularly the fascist BJP regime, has already been exposed and needs to be countered otherwise peace and stability will be at stake.
The Kashmir dispute is not a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan, but a question of the State’s rights, he mentioned. “The right to self-determination is a fundamental right of the Kashmiri people,” he stated.
