Two weeks long Summer Fiesta 2024 concludes on Wednesday


ISLAMABAD, Jul 10 (APP):A two weeks long “Summer Fiesta” arranged in the public schools and colleges by the Ministry of Education and Professional Training concluded on Wednesday after engaging a number of students in meaningful activities.
A ceremony was held to mark the culmination of the summer camp with presence of Federal Secretary for Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.
The ministry celebrated the conclusion of the Summer Fiesta 2024, a two-week-long summer camp initiative aimed at providing a comprehensive learning experience to students across Islamabad.
The Summer Fiesta, conducted in collaboration with the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), engaged over 5,000 students from grades 1-12 in a variety of learning activities. The free camp, supported by 60 partner organizations, featured 60 guest speakers and utilized 20 different venues. Heads of institutions, focal persons, and teachers played a crucial role in the success of this initiative.
The summer camp offered a wide range of benefits, including extended learning, character development, socialization, exposure to new experiences, personal growth and development of essential life skills.
These activities were designed for the students in line with the modern requirements so that the students can find these useful in determining their future interests.
The camps included Tech Boot Camp, Digital Art, Rumi Camp, Skills based courses, Public speaking, Language Laboratory, Cosmetology and personal grooming, Content creation, Greening education, Mind games, sports, Drama and
Theater, Young Entrepreneurs, Photography, Videography and Podcasts, Climate change and Environmental literacy and art and craft etc.
