ISLAMABAD, April 23 (APP):Chairman of Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Tuesday said that empowering youth through financial support was the top priority of the government.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Deputy Governor of State Bank of Pakistan Salim Ullah.
The Chairman further said that providing better economic opportunities and making the young generation more financially independent and self-sufficient, there was an urgent need to provide them an economically friendly environment, so that they would be able to have a prosperous future.
The meeting deliberated on strategies to increase access to financial services for the youth under the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme.
Rana Mashhood said that bursting potential of the youth should be utilized to ensure their role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan. The Chairman reiterated his commitment to work closely with the State Bank of Pakistan to ensure concrete initiatives for the development and empowerment of youth across the country.
The constructive dialogue between the Youth Program Chairman and the State Bank of Pakistan Deputy Governor laid a promising foundation for future partnerships and initiatives.
On the occasion, the Deputy Governor of SBP said that collaboration was imperative to involve the youth in economic development and stabilise the economy of Pakistan.
