ISLAMABAD, Jul 9 (APP):The civil administrations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Tuesday agreed to improve facilities at slaughterhouse to ensure quality meat to residents of twin cities.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Commissioner Rawalpindi Abdul Aamer Khattak, discussed various plans to address critical urban issues and enhance infrastructure in both cities.
The meeting also highlighted the need for stringent quality standards in the slaughterhouse, with monitoring to be conducted jointly by officials from Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Additionally, the officials agreed on joint monitoring of the Islamabad vegetable market to improve price control and ensure better service for the residents.
“Joint monitoring of the vegetable market will enable better price control,” emphasized Commissioner Rawalpindi.
Other critical issues discussed included, addressing concerns related to WASA and revenue records, and eradicating polio and dengue from the twin cities.
