ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (APP): Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday expressed satisfaction following his first meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting its positive tone and focus on addressing public and provincial concerns.
Addressing a joint press conference with federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal and federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Amir Muqam, Gandapur emphasized the importance of cooperation between the federal and the provincial governments in delivering solutions to a number of pressing issues. Chief Minister Gandapur underscored the constructive dialogue with PM Shehbaz Sharif, emphasizing their discussions on matters ranging from law and order to public welfare. The CM lauded the PM’s commitment in providing full support and fulfilling promises made, signaling a collaborative approach to ensure good-governance.
Gandapur stressed the significance of political engagement, advocating for a meeting citing it as a pathway to political resolution.
Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal echoed Gandapur’s sentiments, expressing optimism about the talks’ outcomes. He highlighted the PM’s assurance regarding the settlement of the province’s dues by the federal government and directives to address challenges faced by the people during suhoor and iftar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
