ISLAMABAD, July 10 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday expressed his deep grief over the shahadat of personnel of security forces and law enforcement agencies during an intelligence-based operation in Hassan Khel area of Peshawar and paid tribute to their sacrifices.
The president lauded the security forces for sending the high profile terrorist and other anti-social elements to hell during the operation, President Secretariat Press Wing said in a press release.
He also appreciated the display of professionalism and bravery of the security forces and law enforcement agencies.
“The entire nation is standing behind its Jawans in the fight against terrorism. Terrorism will be rooted out,” he added.
President Zardari prayed for the high ranks of the departed souls and for the bereaved families to bear the losses with fortitude.
