Fundraiser Art Exhibition “Spero” continues to attract visitors


ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP):A fundraiser art exhibition titled ‘Spero’ continues to attract the visitors at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) through featuring display of exquisite collection of paintings by various artists.
The art exhibition and fundraiser for the Al Wadood Hospital, dedicated to child and mother care, is being arranged by the TrueWorth Foundation in collaboration with PNCA and MoodsAtelier.
The exhibition, curated by Aasim Akhtar and Mehmood ul Hassan, will remain open for visitors till July 26.
The exhibition displayed the work of prominent artists including Feheem Abbas, Hamza bin Faisal, Tahira Noreen, Kaiser Irfan, Jibran Shahid, Naqsh Raj, Unab Sumbal, Mehmood ul Hassan, Irfan Abdullah, Tahir Saleem and Mahad Saddique.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Monday by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ms. Jane Marriott and attended by Director General PNCA, M. Ayoub Jamali and other dignitaries, including the Turkish Ambassador.
The opening event at PNCA saw a large turnout of artists, diplomats, designers, architects, and enthusiasts from various fields. The artwork received high praise for its creativity and depth.
Speaking on the occasion, Zahra Wadood Fatemi, who has established Al-Wadood Hospital through her untiring efforts, said this hospital, for the last 15 years, has been serving as a beacon of hope for the countless individuals and families by providing free of cost medical facilities to them.
She said that the medical staff in the hospital also works with compassion and dedication to serve the patients. “Through a team of skilled medical professionals and a patient centric approach, Al- Wadood Hospital provides a high quality care in a wide range of specialized fields”, she added.
Through its commitment to providing affordable health care services to the patients, the hospital continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.
Sharing her insight on the exhibition, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ms. Jane Marriott, as a chief guest, said the way Zahra Wadood built this hospital through 15 years long struggle is inspiring for all of us.
She said that the fascinating art pieces displayed in this exhibition, as the title suggests `Spero’, gives the message of hope to the thousands of people who are getting treatment from this hospital.
The organizer of the event, Mehmood ul Hassan, invites everyone to experience the artistic expressions of hope and contribute to a noble cause.
He stated, “This exhibition not only showcases the immense talent of our artists but also highlights the power of art in bringing communities together for a common cause. The funds raised will significantly impact the Al Wadood Hospital, improving healthcare services for mothers and children in need.”
